Where is my data stored?

On your device first, and synced privately to your own iCloud account. HuMo has no account and no server that can read your entries. See our Privacy Policy.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. HuMo works fully offline. iCloud sync and the optional AI summaries are the only features that use the network, and AI summaries are off until you turn them on.

How do I back up or export my entries?

Open Settings → Backup & Export to export a full copy of your data as JSON and Markdown to your iCloud Drive or share it anywhere you like.

What are “AI summaries”?

An optional feature that writes a summary of a period from your reflections. It's disabled by default and only sends data to a relay you configure yourself.
